Riverdale will return to the last one rodeo. Starting his life in 2017, season 7 will be the last season of Archie Comics adaptation and will come to Netflix worldwide in 2023. Per TVline, we will not see the program back in 2022 but instead has the first screening in 2023, possibly in the Premier Midseason window. Midseason can be anywhere between December 2022 and May 2023.
Mark Pedowitz, Chairperson and CEO of CW, said, “We will treat the show in a decent way … We want to make sure it comes out in the right way. ” It is still unclear how many episodes of season 7 will consist of but given in previous years, we hope it will be somewhere between 19 and 22 episodes. When will Riverdale Season 7 be on Netflix in the United States?
Riverdale still came to Netflix as part of the inheritance agreement that first reached almost a decade ago. The agreement means that all outputs from CW come to Netflix after the final season. Where we used to get a dozen new performances every year on Netflix from CW, that number has decreased dramatically. We will not discuss the details here but the CW format will shift dramatically in the coming years. Since 2019, Netflix has not had access to newer performances (except All American: Homecoming).
With the start and other long season, don’t expect season 7 to arrive in the summer as did season 6. Instead, we are currently expecting the release date for the end of 2023 for Riverdale Season 7 on Netflix (possibly around October/November 2023).
When will Riverdale Season 7 be on Netflix Internationally?
In most Netflix regions, you have been treated to a weekly episode of Riverdale all the last 6 seasons. That’s what happened in season 1 and we hope it will be a case for season 7 as well. In this case, you will get a new weekly episode from the beginning of 2023 and so on. Once again, we hope to be a delivery of the next day which means a new episode on CW on Sunday night and then down on Monday morning on Netflix. There are several exceptions for this weekly schedule. In particular, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Italy, Mexico, Turkey, South Africa, and Spain get a much slower season than the United States. You will not see season 7 of Riverdale until at least 2024.
When will Riverdale leave Netflix?
We will discuss this more deeply as soon as the show finally ends, but it is safe to say that Riverdale will not leave Netflix for the future. In the US, we hope that the show will leave around 2028, while elsewhere, we hope that the show will leave Netflix internationally faster.
