Iran has developed a voyage bullet with a range of,650 km(,025 long hauls) a top Revolutionary Guards commander said on Friday, in a move probably to raise Western enterprises after Russia’s use of Iranian drones in the Ukraine war.
Independently, Amirali Hajizadeh, the head of the Revolutionary Guards aerospace force, also spoke of Iran’s frequently repeated trouble to retaliate theU.S. payoff of a top Iranian commander, saying” We’re looking to kill( formerU.S. President Donald) Trump.”
” Our voyage bullet with a range of,650 km has been added to the bullet magazine of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Hajizadeh, told state television. The TV broadcast what it said was the first footage showing the new Paveh voyage bullet.
Hajizadeh said Iran didn’t intend to kill” poor dogfaces” when it launched a ballistic bullet attack onU.S.- led forces in Iraq days after Iranian service commander Qassem Soleimani was killed in aU.S. drone strike in 2020 in Baghdad.
” God willing, we’re looking to kill Trump.( Former Secretary of State Mike) Pompeo. and military commanders who issued the order( to kill Soleimani) should be killed,” Hajizadeh said in the TV interview. Iranian leaders have frequently pledged to retaliate Soleimani in strong terms.
Iran has expanded its bullet programme, particularly its ballistic dumdums, in defiance of opposition from the United States and expressions of concern by European countries. Tehran says the programme is purely protective and of a truculent nature.
Iran has said it had supplied Moscow with drones before the war in Ukraine. Russia has used the drones to target power stations and mercenary structure.
In November, the Pentagon said the United States was sceptical of reports quoting Hajizadeh as saying Iran had developed a hypersonic ballistic bullet.
