Uttar Pradesh government also gave instruction to start the method of entrance for college kids in colleges/universities from 5 August Uttar Pradesh government today issued an order allowing intermediate schools within the state to re-open from 16 August with 50% capacity. The order also allowed colleges and universities to reopen from 1 September consistent with press agency ANI.

According to the UP government statement, the chief minister has instructed officials to start preparations for commencement of latest session of all educational institutes in sight of the controlled situation of the coronavirus within the state.
The results of Classes 10 and 12 boards are declared, and admission for the under-graduate classes should start from August 5, the chief minister was quoted as saying.

In the educational institutes, provisions of sanitiser, infra-red thermometers and masks need to be made, while social distancing and COVID-19 protocol need to be maintained, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said.

With the resumption of the tutorial institutes, it might be appropriate to organise special vaccination camps for college kids above the age of 18 years. The health department should make all the required arrangements during this regard, he said Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday reported 36 fresh Covid cases, which took the tally to 17,08,476, consistent with a politician statement.

No fatality from the infection was registered within the state and therefore the price stands at 22,763, the statement issued by the Uttar Pradesh government said. Of the fresh cases, four were reported from Sultanpur, while three each were reported from Allahabad, Varanasi and Gorakhpur, it said.

In the past 24 hours, 76 people have recovered from the disease, taking the entire number patients discharged thus far within the state to 16,85,049.

The count of active COVID-19 cases within the state stands at 664, the statement said.
