Flying completely under the radar on Netflix recently is the developer that Pacific Rim: the black will come back for his second season in April 2022. What is the mysterious Boy?
Boy had been an enigma in Taylor and Hayley, and throughout the first season, he was shown to be extremely special. Capable of taking shots without injury and able to communicate with other Kaiju, part of the mystery was peeled out when it was revealed that the boy is actually a Kaiju Transforming into one of the creatures while defending Hayley, the involvement of this is that precursors can create Kaiju to look like humans and hide them to the view.
Boy is a precious friend in Taylor and Hayley, but also dangerous. Can the boy think for himself? Or will he have to follow the orders of a precursor if given? The sisters have plans for Boy?
Shane had alluded to the sisters earlier in the season, but we finally received our first overview of them at the end of the season.
