May Day, also known as International Workers’ Day, is celebrated in more than 80 countries worldwide on May 1. Today’s goal is to commemorate the efforts and victory of the working class and labor movement.That day was set aside to review and recognize the historical struggle and further advantages that have formed ideas of social justice and basic rights in the workplace throughout the world.In addition to remembering the past, efforts are also made to empower workers today with the knowledge needed about their rights and responsibilities.
