Animated anthology series are also awarded two new nominations in 2022 EMMY. This event took nomination for “Extraordinary Short Form Animation Program” and “Extraordinary Voice Editing for Comedy or Drama series (half an hour) and animation”. The third volume was premiered on Netflix on May 20, 2022 and once again took a warm welcome from critics and spectators.
While being hampered by a shorter Runtime than most shows, it did not stop the animated series from the display on the Global Top 10s Netflix for two weeks. Between May 15 and May 29, 2022 performances were watched for 29.81 million hours globally. Netflix confirmed the fourth season update with some main details about the new season to come. Nine episodes will form volume 4 from Love, Death and Robots.
Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who took over the task of “Showrunning” from David Fincher after volume 1 continued to be involved in volume 4. His official role was the Supervisory Director. Miller teams, David Fincher, Jennifer Miller, and Joshua Donen will continue as executive producers in the fourth volume. Netflix also provides a short synopsis/temptation of what we can expect into the fourth volume:
“Terror, imagination, and beauty combines in nine new episodes that stretching from revealing ancient crimes to the end of comedy, telling a surprising short story about fantasy, horror, and scientific fiction with trademark intelligence and visual discovery.” There is no studio confirmed for volume 4. Possibly, Miller’s Blur Studio itself (who has worked on 8 episodes so far) will return to produce a new episode. In the last volume, they are behind a bad journey and a group.

The Miller team is also very involved in other Netflix projects that will come in the form of Goon. This project has been one of the things he is working on in the background for more than a decade since starting his life as a Kickstarter campaign.
Fincher is also very involved in the Netflix project in the future. The new director -just wrapped the killer for Netflix, who will debut on Netflix in 2023. Beyond that, he is expected to serve as an executive producer in Chinatown for Netflix and of course, rumors continue to spin about Mindhunter’s return for season 3.
