India reports 13,193 new Covid-19 infections, 97 deaths in 24 hours

As many as 13,193 new COVID-19 cases and 97 deaths were reported in the country in the last 24 hours, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) said on Friday

With the new cases, the Covid count in the nation has arrived at 1,09,63,394 including 1,39,542 dynamic cases and 1,06,67,741 releases. The loss of life has mounted to 1,56,111 with the deficiency of 97 additional lives because of the infection over the most recent 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministry, 98,46,523 immunization dosages were given through 2,10,809 meetings till Thursday night.

“This incorporates 62,34,635 medical care laborers who have taken the first portion and 4,64,932 medical services laborers who have required the subsequent portion, alongside 31,46, bleeding edge laborers who were regulated the primary portion,” it said.

The Ministry added an aggregate of 40 people have been hospitalized and 32 individuals have passed on subsequent to getting the COVID-19 immunization in the country.

“Of the 40 instances of hospitalization, 24 were released after treatment, while thirteen people kicked the bucket and three are under treatment. Over the most recent 24 hours, two people have been hospitalized. Of the 32, thirteen people passed on in the emergency clinic while 19 passings are recorded external the clinic. Over the most recent 24 hours, three new passings have been accounted for. No instance of genuine demise is inferable from immunization, until this point in time,” the Ministry added.

The absolute number of tests tried up to Thursday was 20,94,74,862, as per the Indian Council of Medical Research. The ICMR likewise said that 7,71,071 examples were tried on February 18.
