Chesapeake Shores returns for a sixth and last season with most Netflix Worldwide regions are receiving weekly episodes of the Feeling-Good series based on Sherryl Woods’ books. Here is our launch guide for Chesapeake Shores season 6 in Netflix. Debuting for the first time in 2016, the dramatic series produced by Borderline Distribution, Inc. for the American television network Hallmark Channel has been a beloved family drama and for most, you’ve seen everything in Netflix.
Created by John Tinker and Nancey Silvers, the series has followed a young woman returning to her hometown to help save her inn failing from her sister. The program is based on Sheryll Woods’ books, which is behind Sweet Magnolias of Netflix (renewed for a third season). It will be bittersweet to see that the program reaches a conclusion. Responding to a fan, said Hallmark Channel at the end of the program:
“We are very proud of Chesapeake Shores, a program that has captured the imagination and was reaching a natural conclusion, and we decided to conclude the program in a high note in the sixth and last season, which premieres at the end of this summer.” 10 episodes will constitute the last season and will be broadcast in the summer of 2022. The filming for the final season will take place between March 28 and June 28, 2022.
When will Chesapeake Shores be on Netflix internationally?
Excluding Netflix Us and Canada, Netflix has the global rights of Chesapeake Shores. Therefore, almost all countries in the world will receive Chesapeake coasts, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America and Asia. The good news is that during the last three seasons, Netflix has brought weekly episodes of the program. That was the case of Chesapeake Shores season 5, which fell on Netflix Weekly for 2021.
That means that the show is broadcast on Hallmark one night and then arrives in Netflix the next morning. Season 6 begins on August 14 with the first episode that arrived on August 15. It must be specified in episode 10 in mid -October 2022.

Netflix US no longer transmits Chesapeake Shores despite taking the series since the first season. As he will remember, Netflix lost the rights of the United States of the program in early 2017. Since then, we have not seen or heard of any intention to relate the program even though Netflix has a personal interest in the works of Sherryl Woods.
At the time the publication, the program is still transmitted exclusively in Hallark’s films now, which is the Hallmark transmission service.
